The Brevard County Marine Advisory Council was established by Resolution 99-258 on November 9,

1999.  Resolution 01-216 adopted on May 8, 2001, amended the previous Resolution to include the Council’s

Mission Statement and Scope of Work. There shall be 10 members of the Council, with each

Commissioner appointing two members. Members terms shall expire after one year, or with the

term of the appointing Commissioner, whichever comes first.
