Comprehensive Maritime Management Master Plan (CM3P) Working Group Update
Continuing the development of the CM3P, the eighth Working Group held its first meeting on August 24, 2011 and will meet every other Wednesday. This Working Group will focus on the topic of boating safety. All meetings will be held at 5 PM at the Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940, Building A, second floor, suite 219, in the Natural Resources Management Office Conference Room. All meetings are open to the public.

On January 11, 2011, the Steering Committee met to review the Goal Drafts prepared by Working Groups 5 and 6. The Steering Committee made suggestions on the Drafts and were presented to the Brevard Marine Advisory Council (BMAC) for their consideration on January 20, 2011. BMAC approved the Goal Drafts from Working Groups 5 and 6. The Board of County Commissioners accepted the following Goals at the February 22, 2011 meeting.
On September 7, 2010, the Board of County Commissioners accepted the Final Drafts from Working Groups I through IV.
